Evening Reflections
Petals and Sky...
Tonight, I walked around the marina. The pink puffy clouds floated above like soft brushstrokes across the sky, and the yellow hibiscus were reaching for the light—bold, bright, and full of life. The great blue heron came down, tall and elegant. I always wonder what they’re thinking when the camera’s pointed at them—do they feel regal, curious, amused? And then a seagull flew past a plane—and for a moment, they looked about the same size. It made me laugh. Perspective is everything. It’s amazing what opens up when you slow down. I’m just so grateful I take the time to do this every day. There’s so much beauty when you take the time to see it. Grateful for the walk, the sky, the flowers, the birds—and the way nature always finds a way to surprise me.
Evening Gratitude Thought:
Grateful for pink clouds, golden hibiscus, the great blue heron’s quiet arrival, and a soaring seagull who flew past a plane and reminded me how playful perspective can be.
