Evening Reflections
Lead with Kindness, Live with Gratitude…
Some sunsets feel like they were painted just for anyone willing to pause long enough to notice.
Tonight, I stood overlooking the bluffs as golden light spilled across the wetlands, turning every cloud into a brushstroke of warmth. The flowers glowed in the evening light, the sky slowly traded gold for shades of pink, and just before I left, a tiny rabbit appeared as if to say goodnight.
The little message I carried with me read, “Lead with kindness. Live with gratitude.” It couldn’t have been a more perfect reminder. Kindness changes the world around us, and gratitude changes the way we see it.
Sometimes I catch myself thinking, How lucky are we that we get to experience this every day? Every sunset is different, yet each one invites us to slow down, breathe, and remember how much beauty quietly surrounds us.
Tonight, I left feeling incredibly grateful. Blessed by another beautiful ending that somehow felt like a brand-new beginning.
