Evening Reflections
Here Is Beautiful…
The clouds held the sunset close tonight, leaving only a narrow band of gold glowing along the horizon. From the bluffs, I looked out over the wetlands, the winding water below, and the city softened by the evening haze.
The flowers along the trail seemed to celebrate the moment anyway. Bright pink clusters, a delicate white bloom, and a quiet path beneath the trees all felt like little reminders that beauty doesn’t need to be loud to be noticed.
One message stayed with me all evening:
“You will get there, but right now you are here and here is beautiful.”
It’s easy to spend life looking toward the next thing, the next goal, the next chapter. Tonight reminded me that this chapter deserves to be appreciated too.
A soft sky. A peaceful trail. A glimpse of gold beneath the clouds.
