Evening Reflections

Followed by Wings…

Sunset tonight by the Venice Pier was painted in sherbet colors—soft orange, peach, and gold melting into the sea. The water shimmered as if it knew something special was happening. Seagulls were busy battling over peanuts, their tiny arguments full of personality and life.

Out in the distance, a fishing boat moved across the horizon, and the birds chased it with pure excitement. Even from far away, you could see how happy they were. It made me smile instantly because I know that feeling—anticipation, hope, and the joy of knowing something good is coming.

High above, the moon was already shining, watching over everything like a quiet guardian. Sun and moon sharing the sky for a moment always feels like a blessing to me.

I held up my little message to the sunset and read the words: “May all the good in life find you, follow you, embrace you and stay with you.”

And it felt true. The birds really do follow me. Not just with their wings, but with their trust and their presence. They remind me every day that joy can be simple—food, freedom, sky, and connection.

Tonight was another reminder that happiness can be seen from a distance. It flies in flocks, chases boats, and lands gently in the heart when we stop long enough to notice. I am so grateful for these moments, for these birds, and for the way the world keeps showing me beauty when I show up.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Evening Gratitude Thought:

Tonight, I am grateful for sherbet skies, moonlight, and birds that chase joy across the water. May all the good in life find you, follow you, embrace you, and stay with you.

Stunning ocean sunset with golden sky reflecting on calm waters as hand holds small turquoise note against horizon.
