Morning Reflections

Flying Toward the Light…

This morning at the pier felt like a celebration waiting just for me. The sun rose softly over the water, painting everything in warm gold, and before I could even take a breath, the birds came flying in from every direction. That rush of wings toward me never gets old. There is truly no better feeling than seeing them all fly my way, as if we made an appointment with the sunrise.

I held up my little message to the light, and it felt like the words were alive in the moment: “Every day in every way, my life is getting better and better.” It was one of those mornings where you don’t just believe it, you can see it. In the sky. In the water. In the way the world shows up when you show up too.

Out on the water, surfers were waiting patiently for their waves, while others were already gliding across the surface, riding the morning like it was written just for them. Birds and surfers, wings and boards, all moving toward joy in their own way. Different paths, same energy.

This is my happy place, and somehow, it’s theirs too. The pier becomes a meeting point for gratitude. The birds rush in like old friends. The ocean hums its steady song. And the sun reminds me that beginnings don’t have to be loud to be powerful.

Mornings like this don’t need anything extra. They don’t ask for more than presence. Just show up, lift your eyes, and watch what comes flying toward you.

Capturing beauty, sharing light.

Morning Gratitude Thought:

Grateful for mornings when the birds fly toward me, the surfers ride their waves, and the sun rises like a promise. Every day in every way, my life is getting better and better.
