Evening Reflections
Boldly Be Yourself…
What a beautiful Sunday evening at Venice Beach!
Tonight was filled with so many little moments that reminded me just how wonderful it is to be alive.
The sky was covered with dramatic clouds, with golden sunlight peeking through and creating the most beautiful reflections on the wet sand. Low tide had transformed the beach into a mirror, reflecting the sky and the Venice Pier.
The waves were enormous tonight! I loved watching them crash against the shoreline, with the American flag waving proudly in the background. There is something so powerful and peaceful about the ocean, all at the same time.
One of my favorite moments was watching the kids sliding down the sand berms. They were having so much fun! Such a simple thing, yet it brought so much joy. It reminded me that happiness doesn’t have to be complicated.
And then there were the adorable little Sanderlings, racing down the beach on their tiny legs, following the waves in and out. They always make me smile. I could watch them all day!
Tonight’s message was:
“Boldly be yourself. There is no one else like you.”
I love this reminder because we are all beautifully unique. We each have our own journey, our own gifts, and our own way of experiencing this incredible world.
Nature never tries to be anything other than what it is. The waves crash, the birds dance along the shoreline, and the sun finds its way through the clouds.
There is beauty in simply being who you are.
As I watched another beautiful evening unfold, I couldn’t help but feel grateful. Grateful for the ocean, the birds, the laughter of children, and the opportunity to witness another sunset.
Life is made up of these little moments. The more we notice them, the more beautiful life becomes.
Be yourself. Enjoy the little things. And never forget how special it is to be alive.
Another beautiful Sunday, another sunset, and another walk in gratitude. ❤️
Always grateful.
Capturing beauty, sharing light.
